About the hosts

The Escapes Airbnbs was born from our love of real estate, travel, and interior design.

I grew up in Senec, Slovakia, before moving to London in the 90s, where I met my husband, Lee. In 2003, we made Australia our home.

With a background in real estate, I’ve always had a keen eye for beautiful design, and have been passionate about creating inviting spaces where guests can truly relax and unwind. Meanwhile Lee, with his expertise in accounts, ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Together, we’ve poured our hearts into creating three unique Airbnbs, each designed to offer a welcoming and memorable stay.

We take great pride in providing a seamless and comfortable experience, blending stylish coastal interiors with thoughtful touches to make our guests feel at home. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend escape or a longer retreat, we hope you love staying in our spaces as much as we love creating them.
